Role: Content Writer – Public Communications

We’re looking for an entry-level writer to create clear, engaging communications for public education and community outreach projects. You’ll work from home, turning research and feedback into practical materials that help people understand important issues.
What you’ll do:
Write and edit campaign messaging, social media content, website copy, outreach materials, talking points, and reports. Help develop communications plans for public education campaigns. Research audiences and issues, review feedback, and help summarize findings. Work with designers and team members to develop flyers, fact sheets, and digital content. Coordinate reviews, incorporate feedback, and meet deadlines across multiple projects.
Skills/background needed:
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Research and organization skills. Experience with Microsoft Office and digital communication platforms. Ability to manage multiple projects and work collaboratively with team members. No prior professional experience required—full training provided.
