We’re looking for detail-oriented audio transcribers to work on clinical conversation recordings. This is a fully remote, contract role perfect for entry-level candidates with strong listening skills and an interest in accuracy-focused work.
What you’ll do:
You’ll review machine-generated draft transcripts and compare them against audio segments, correcting them for accuracy. Your work will involve applying precise transcription guidelines, ensuring word-level timing is correct, and tagging vocal elements like laughter or overlapping speech. You’ll also flag any unfamiliar medical terms for specialist review—no medical knowledge required upfront.
What we’re looking for:
Native or near-native English listening comprehension. Comfort working with detailed formatting instructions. A quiet workspace and over-ear headphones. Prior transcription, captioning, or audio annotation experience is a bonus but not necessary. No medical background needed.
Work format:
Fully remote contract work. You’ll work from home on your own schedule within the project requirements.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Location: Remote work worldwide (English speaking preferred)
