We’re looking for a freelance writer to cover college sports teams with daily articles and analysis. You’ll produce 3-5 pieces per week, each around 400 words, focusing on football, baseball, and basketball.
What you’ll do:
Write engaging, original articles about college sports teams and games. Cover game recaps, player profiles, season analysis, and breaking news. Develop your own story ideas and meet weekly deadlines. Work fully remote from anywhere with an internet connection.
Skills/background needed:
Experience writing about sports is helpful. You should be able to write clearly, meet deadlines, and come up with interesting angles on games and teams. Familiarity with college athletics is a plus. All training will be provided.
