We’re looking for an entry-level sports editor to join our remote newsroom. You’ll manage and edit sports content from writers around the world, working flexible hours to ensure timely, accurate coverage.
What you’ll do:
Edit sports stories under deadline pressure, collaborate with writers across different time zones, and apply news judgment to decide what stories matter most. You’ll work on a rotating schedule that includes evenings and weekends to maintain continuous coverage.
Skills/background needed:
Interest in sports journalism and news writing. Basic copy-editing experience is helpful but not required—full training will be provided. You should be comfortable working under tight deadlines and collaborating with a distributed team.
Contract length: Full-time
