We’re seeking an Associate Editor & Writer to research, interview, and develop engaging stories for digital and print content. You’ll transform complex information into clear, compelling narratives that resonate with diverse audiences.
What You’ll Do
Research and write features, profiles, and news stories for digital platforms, newsletters, and print publications. Copyedit and fact-check content for accuracy. Assist with multimedia storytelling, integrating writing with photography, video, and design. Write promotional copy and social media posts. Support publication planning and production workflows. Identify compelling story ideas and develop relationships with sources to build authentic narratives.
Skills/Background Needed
Bachelor’s degree in journalism, English, communications, or a writing-intensive field. Strong writing, editing, and research skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines. Experience with social media, digital publishing, or basic search engine optimization is helpful but not required. Professional writing samples or published clips are a plus.
