Junior Proposal Writer – Work From Home, Full Training Provided

Roles: Proposal and Grant Writer

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full time, remote

We are looking for a beginner-friendly proposal and grant writer to help turn community programmes and impact into clear, persuasive funding requests. No prior experience is required – full training is provided, and you will work from home with a supportive team.

What you will do:

Research funding opportunities that match programme priorities and help build a pipeline of upcoming requests. Support proposals from start to submission, translating programmes, needs and outcomes into simple, compelling narratives. Work with programme and finance colleagues so budgets and commitments fit together. Help with renewals, reporting and funder communications.

Skills/background needed:

A willingness to learn, clear writing and editing, basic research and analytical skills, comfort working with budgets, good organisation, and the ability to manage more than one deadline. You will need to collaborate with programme teams, finance colleagues, senior leaders and funding partners. A degree is welcome but not essential – relevant life or work experience counts.

Work format: Fully remote, work from anywhere, flexible hours with training and ongoing support.

Location: Remote work worldwide (English speaking preferred)
