We’re hiring a Technical Writer to join our growing team. In this role, you’ll create clear, user-friendly procedures and training guides that help people understand complex processes. You’ll work with internal resources and existing documentation to produce accurate materials for a variety of audiences.
This is a fully remote position. You’ll learn our processes and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including safety, engineering, quality, and maintenance specialists. No prior experience is required—we provide full training and support as you develop your skills.
What You’ll Do
• Gather information by observing processes, taking notes and photos, and working with subject matter experts
• Analyze information to produce clear, high-quality documentation
• Follow and maintain current document standards
• Collaborate with other writers to improve documentation quality
• Gather feedback from users to improve content and usability
• Edit documentation to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Adjust priorities and timelines with supervisor guidance to meet team goals
• Troubleshoot documentation issues using established practices
• Review document distribution and flag any problems
Skills/Background Needed
• High school diploma or equivalent (or associate’s degree)
• Writing experience is a plus, but not required
• Ability to write clearly, concisely, and accurately
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to break down complex concepts and organize information logically
• Comfort working with diverse teams in a collaborative environment
• Willingness to learn new tools and subject matter quickly
• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to manage time and meet deadlines
• Problem-solving mindset with a drive for continuous improvement
Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment, bachelor’s degree in a technical or related field, or prior experience writing procedural documentation.
