We are seeking a Technical Writer to join our fully remote team and help create clear, accurate documentation for technical services. In this role, you will work with API documentation, create comprehensive service guides, and develop visual explanations that make complex systems easier to understand.
This position supports customer onboarding and partner enablement by transforming technical details into documentation that is accessible, actionable, and easy to follow.
Responsibilities
Create and refine API documentation, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and usability.
Write comprehensive technical guides for new services, including reference materials, implementation guidance, and process documentation.
Develop diagrams and visual explanations to clarify complex, multi-part system interactions.
Work with developers, architects, product teams, and technical experts to gather information and translate it into clear documentation.
Help answer technical questions from partners, prospects, and internal teams during onboarding and implementation.
Update and improve documentation as services, features, and user needs evolve.
Manage multiple documentation projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and quality.
Help establish documentation practices that improve clarity and consistency across all technical content.
Skills/background needed
Experience creating and maintaining API documentation.
Ability to understand technical concepts and explain them clearly for different audiences.
Experience developing diagrams, system flows, or other technical visuals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with technical experts.
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Detail-oriented approach with a commitment to accuracy and consistency.
Experience supporting customer onboarding or partner enablement is a plus.
Comfortable working from home and collaborating with distributed teams via video calls and team messaging tools.
