Content Writer – Donor Communications Work From Home

Roles: You will draft, edit, and create correspondence and communications focused on donor engagement and stewardship. You’ll manage key projects and processes that help communicate the impact of philanthropic giving in a higher education environment. Your writing will help build and maintain relationships with supporters and donors.

Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.

Contract length: Full-time temporary position (6 months).

Work format: Hybrid (combination of on-site and work-from-home days). Some flexibility to work evenings and weekends as project needs require.

Skills/background needed:

Required:• Bachelor’s degree• Minimum three years of professional writing or communications experience in a complex organization• Excellent written and verbal communication skills• Strong editing and content development abilities• Experience managing multiple projects and improving workflows• Ability to work with databases and maintain confidentiality• Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Zoom• Strong organizational skills with ability to meet tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities• Attention to detail and ability to exercise sound judgment• Ability to build relationships across departments and gather informationPreferred:• Interest in or experience working in higher education• Knowledge of donor engagement and stewardship programmes

Location: Hybrid position available.
