About This Role
We’re looking for a friendly, customer-focused Sportsbook Ticket Writer to join our team at a busy gaming venue. This is a fast-paced, people-facing role where you’ll help customers navigate sports betting options and provide excellent service in a lively environment.
No prior sportsbook experience is necessary—we’ll train you on everything you need to know about our betting options and systems.
What You’ll Do
• Deliver friendly, welcoming customer service to both regular and first-time bettors• Learn our full range of sports betting options and help customers understand their choices• Process betting tickets and handle cash transactions accurately• Answer customer questions and help them make informed decisions• Handle customer concerns and escalate issues to your supervisor when needed• Complete all required paperwork and documentation according to company policy and gaming regulations• Work collaboratively with team members and support your supervisor• Perform additional duties as assigned
Skills/background needed: Basic computer knowledge (email, spreadsheets, internet browsing), at least 1 year of cash handling experience in a work setting, high school diploma or equivalent preferred, must be 21 or older, ability to obtain required gaming license, hospitality or customer service experience preferred
