About This Role:
We’re looking for creative writers to join our Paid Creator Program on a freelance, work-for-hire basis. You’ll craft immersive, interactive stories where readers shape the narrative and make meaningful choices that affect the plot.
This is an excellent opportunity for both established romance authors and emerging writers with strong writing samples. You’ll work on dynamic, character-focused stories across genres including contemporary romance, billionaire drama, and darker romance themes.
What You’ll Do:
Write engaging interactive fiction for mobile platforms, where your stories reach readers worldwide. You’ll develop compelling characters, create branching narratives that respond to reader choices, and craft stories designed to keep audiences engaged and invested in your characters’ journeys.
Skills/background needed:
Demonstrated passion for romance fiction, writing experience (whether published, self-published, or shared on storytelling platforms), and familiarity with interactive narrative formats. A creator profile on platforms like Wattpad, personal website, social media, or similar is helpful but not required. You’ll need to provide one writing sample and be willing to submit story pitches that fit interactive storytelling formats.
Rate: Competitive entry-level pay, details shared upon application.
Contract length: Project-based, freelance.
Location: Work from home, fully remote.
What We Offer:
Compensation is paid per completed project. Writers whose stories perform exceptionally well and generate strong reader engagement may be considered for increased compensation, premium features, or opportunities for adaptation.
To Apply:
You’ll need to submit a brief bio, one writing sample, and 1–3 story pitches that demonstrate your understanding of interactive storytelling and current romance trends. Familiarizing yourself with the platform and what readers are looking for will strengthen your application.
